Enraptured - comeback horse

When Enraptured (Preferment) won her 2YO debut over 1050m in March at Matamata last year, I felt sure Challenge had uncovered another Black Type filly.

The road since then has been rocky, with a fragment removed from the knee at two, then tie-back wind surgery was needed earlier this year.

Standing 16.3hh, Enraptured painted a pretty picture when leading all the way to win her Open Catchweight over 950m on the Polytrack this morning.

It was her first race or trial in exactly 9 months.

You will struggle to see a better galloping action at the busy Cambridge Training Centre; this mare has huge natural ability & hopefully now her Syndicate of owners can enjoy the fruits of their belief and patience.

It's likely that Enraptured will make a return to racing early in the New Year, possibly at Te Aroha, 03 January.
